Week 6: Active Engagement
When I teach writing I use the technique of Inquiry. I think that is because I teach science through the inquiry method as well. So it is easy for me to work along side the kids to learn a process and then use that process in their own situations. If I were to utilize another method, I think that it would most likely be guided practice because it still puts the information as a student centered activity.

The technique of inquiry and guided practice (especially) are wonderful to use in science, and for me, math. I definitely am always creating guided work for my students in different formats and I really find it effective.
